Padel Coming to Bracknell!

Bracknell Leisure Centre

2 Sept 2025

Bracknell Padel

Everyone Active and Padel4All have teamed up to bring this rapidly growing sport to Bracknell Leisure Centre.

Padel4all, one of the UK’s leading padel operators, has teamed up with leisure provider Everyone Active to open Bracknell’s first padel tennis centre later this year. The launch of the facility will add a new all-inclusive sport for the local community to try, although players should be warned, the game is highly addictive.

The new centre will offer four state-of-the-art outdoor covered padel courts and marks the start of the next phase of expansion for Padel4all who will begin building a similar 4-court centre at Fareham LC, also operated by Everyone Active, next month.

Padel is easy to play, fun and sociable, and is currently enjoying a surge of interest in the UK on the back of celebrity endorsements and an increase in court availability. Often referred to as a hybrid of tennis and squash, padel is played in doubles on an enclosed court slightly less than a third of the size of a tennis court.  The scoring is the same as tennis, but the big pull is that rules such as the underarm serve make it easier to play than other racket sports resulting in it being far more accessible

Operationally the Padel4all team offer a full range of centre activities including social, recreational and matchplay sessions all of which can be booked individually as you would a gym class. Competitive players will be able to enter regular competitions and take part in organised sponsored box leagues with some great prizes to be won. The centre will also offer an extensive coaching programme which includes individual or group sessions and a full junior programme.

Keen to make the game accessible to all ages and abilities the centre allows pay and play bookings and provides concessions for children under 16 and students. Padel4all also offers an affordable membership scheme which gives players discounted play and a host of benefits including an extended booking period. Once open the centre will cater for those who are new to the sport by offering daily Intro to Padel sessions which are 1hr, coach-led and include all the equipment.

Padel4all has already successfully built and is operating a number of sites across Southern England with centres at Bristol, Swindon, Southend and Eastbourne. The Company has ambitious plans to expand further in 2026 following the opening of the centres in Bracknell and Fareham later this year.

Padel4all CEO and Founder Christopher Wilkinson explained: “Padel is a fun sport for everyone to play. It is incredibly easy to learn, ideal for any age (from 7 to 75) and appeals to all abilities, it is also great for fitness and wellbeing.

“We’re excited to be building Bracknell’s first padel centre. Bracknell Leisure Centre is the home of sport and leisure in the town and the padel centre will be a fantastic addition to what the site currently offers. Working alongside Everyone Active we are totally committed to helping deliver sporting opportunities for the local community and we look forward to introducing the good people of Bracknell to this fast-growing sport.”

Mark Tennant, Contract Manager at Everyone Active said: “As one of the world’s fastest-growing sports, we’re delighted to introduce padel tennis as a new activity at Bracknell Leisure Centre, and we’re excited for work on the new padel courts building to begin. A fun and inclusive sport for all ages and abilities, we believe it will be very well received and embraced within the local community.”

Damian James, Assistant Director for Contract Services at Bracknell Forest Council commented: “We are thrilled to be able to welcome this unique sport to the residents of Bracknell Forest. The new facility will join our well-established leisure centre where a new padel superstar could be made! Beginners won’t need to worry as Padel4all will be offering training courses for those wanting to build up their skills- making it accessible for all.
